As Assistant Headteacher for Behaviour and Attendance, I am driven by a lifelong belief that showing up—both in sport and in life—is the foundation of success. My own journey began on the sports field, where I first discovered the discipline, resilience, and teamwork that shape the way I lead today. I was fortunate to have inspiring teachers and coaches who encouraged me to stay focused and remain on the right path, and their influence is at the heart of the work I do with our pupils.

I am passionate about creating a school culture where every young person feels supported to make positive choices, take responsibility, and strive for their best. Strong attendance sits at the centre of this: nothing improves, strengthens, or grows unless you show up for it. Whether in the classroom or on the pitch, being present is the first and most important step.

In my role, I am committed to ensuring that every pupil has the opportunity, encouragement, and structure they need to thrive—because with the right guidance, every child can find their path and achieve remarkable things.
