I am the Assistant Vice Principal for Safeguarding and Social inclusion. I am responsible for overseeing the safeguarding standards and routines throughout our school as well as the alternative provisions we can provide to ensure inclusion to all of our students. I work closely with the pastoral team and the Assistant Vice Principal for behaviour.

I have worked in 3 inner-city schools in varying roles. Primarily I am a Maths teacher, however I have experience as a Pastoral Care Lead, a Head of Year in charge of behaviour and standards and a Head of Key Stage 4 in charge of Intervention and Raising Standards.

Children thrive when they are healthy, safe and secure and when they have positive relationships with the adults caring for them. It will always be my first priority to ensure the children in our care feel safe and protected while supporting them to break down any barriers on their pathway to success and stability.

 It is my honour to be a part of Co-op Academy Swinton and I am proud to be able to support and engage a beautifully diverse group of young people.
