Amazing news…our Breakfast Club is back! We are pleased to announce that our ever popular Breakfast Club will commence again from Monday 20 September 2021 in JB’s Cafe.

A FREE healthy school breakfast is offered to all our students, from Monday to Friday in JB’s Cafe, setting them up for the day of learning ahead.

Students are able to choose from bagels and toast with various toppings, a range of cereals, fresh fruit, hot drinks and fresh juice.

Our Breakfast Club service will run from 7:30am until 8:15am before school and the entrance will be via JB’s Cafe door, facing the Recreation Centre.

The benefits

We are very proud to offer free healthy breakfasts to all our students and there are many benefits. It is considered the most important meal of the day and sets children up with the fuel they need for the day ahead, it helps students arrive at school on time and gives them the opportunity to socialise with their friends at the start of the day.

At least half a million children in the UK arrive at school each day too hungry to learn. Research has shown a direct link between the breakfast habits of children and their educational attainment, with children in primary schools where breakfast is provided achieving on average up to two months’ additional academic progress over the course of a year.
